How can i connect my computer to my tv?

i want to be able to watch my downloaded movies that are on my pc, on my tv. i know i probably have to buy a tv card or something but i cant find info on it. it has to be connected thru the white, yellow, red video and sound plugs because i dont have s-video jack on my tv. help please

Televisions don't usually come with S-Video jacks. If your graphics card as a S-VIDEO out port then you can purchase a SVIDEO-%26gt;RCA adapter which one end will plug into your svideo port and on the other end you will have a white plug and a red plug, put these into the matching color plugs and it should work fine.
