Why can't Dell, Microsoft and Intel create a PC that turns on like a pocket calculator?

For a pocket calculator, you push a button and it's on.

For a car, you turn the key and it's on.

For a TV, you push a button and it's on.

Why does a PC take three minutes to go from the power button being pushed to being ready to get on the internet?

You can set your PC to go onto hibernation, it then keeps your settings loaded and only takes about 30s to start up!

because it hase to load all your setting and software from the RAM. but they are in the process of making a magnetic random access memory or MRAM which will turn the computer on instantly. and will basically be on stand by mode and will never go off.
yes that would be nice.
